Gandara
Charles Gandara
received a Bachelor’s degree in
History and a Master’s in
Multicultural Education from
California State University,
Dominguez Hills. He also holds
a current California Single
Subject Teaching Credential. He
spent four and-a-half years
teaching high school Social
Studies and coaching high school
baseball.
His years in the
classroom and the knowledge
gained in Graduate School on how
youth and adults learn helped
him transition from educating
teenagers to training adults.
Charles spent three years
training teachers, counselors,
school administrators and youth
leaders in mediation, conflict
resolution and leadership. He
has traveled the country
training hundreds of people from
various backgrounds.
He has spent the
last two years in human
resources serving as the
Training & Development Manager
for a Southern California based
independent grocery chain with
4700 employees. There he has
engaged in management training,
employee development, program
development and has helped the
company receive national
recognition for its development
of a turnover reduction
program.
