Chemin Beranard was born in Washington, D.C., raised between Chicago, Illinois and Fresno, California, and moved to Los Angeles in 1973. Although she worked initially as a Telephone Company Service Representative, Chemin chose to go back to school while raising a son, and successfully graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelors Degree in film & television production.For the past 25 years Chemin has worked as a Casting Director for the Film and Television Industry. Ms. Bernard is the owner of Chemin Bernard Casting, a company whose signature of excellence, integrity, quality and vision is stamping a lasting impression on the entertainment scene. Still, she felt a higher calling in recent years.
She has studied metaphysics at Agape International Center of Truth with Dr. Michael Beckwith since it’s inception in 1986. After becoming a licensed Practitioner (pastoral counselor) in 1996, she developed an active private practice. Chemin is a regular Facilitator and Facilitator Coach for various classes at Agape, as well as a Coordinator and Breakout Facilitator (small-group) for conferences.
To expand her skills in facilitation and counseling, Chemin attended the University of Santa Monica and graduated with a Masters in Psychology in 1998. Chemin continues her private practice while facilitating group workshops centering on relationships, career and personal growth. In addition, with her fellow Practitioner, USM grad and husband, Stanley Bernard, she co-facilitated a year-long Couples Communication Workshop with young marrieds.
She is dedicated to the upliftment of the human condition through authenticity, unconditional love, and infinite unbearable compassion for all.
